Our complete kit contains a 6.3” (16 cm) diameter cast iron skillet filled with a pouch of our best selling Pecan & Brown Sugar Baked Brie toppings. Take a small 8oz (225 g) round Brie or Camembert Cheese, score the top with a knife, place it in the skillet, top off the cheese with the easy to prepare toppings, bake 15-20 minutes, serve hot from the skillet. Pecan & Brown Sugar Baked Brie
All you need:
– Pecans & Brown Sugar Brie Topping (included)
– 30 g (2 tbsp) unsalted butter
– 10 ml (2 tsp) brandy* or apple juice *optional
– 225 g (8 oz) small round Brie/Camembert
– 1 french baguette, sliced thinly
All you do:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Score the top rind with a knife OR remove top rind of cheese, leaving rind on sides and bottom intact. Place cheese, cut side up, in skillet. Put contents of toppings pouch, butter and brandy or juice in a small microwave safe bowl, and microwave for approximately 25-30 seconds. Stir to blend. Microwave for 2 more increments of approximately 25-30 seconds, stirring each time. Pour mixture evenly over prepared cheese. Place skillet or brie baker in center of hot oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and serve with baguette slices.
